Terms of Service

1. Who we are

• The Design Stack is a brand of The Design Shop, a proprietorship registered as an MSME (Udyam), owned by Satyam Dubey.

2. Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws that apply to you. If you use the site for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

3. Your account

• You sign in with an email address that you own. We verify it with a one-time link.
• One person, one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@thedesignstack.co.in if you think someone else has used it.

4. Free copies

Every verified account can copy or download up to 2 items of its choice, free, in any rolling 36-hour period. This applies to Figma components, prompts and templates alike. Items marked “Free” never count, and copying an item again while it is still one of your free copies does not count twice. The allowance is a courtesy, not something you buy, and we may change or end it at any time.

Creating several accounts, using disposable or alias email addresses, automating requests, or any other attempt to get more free copies than allowed is a breach of these terms. We may then block the accounts involved and cancel their access without notice.

5. Purchases and payment

• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record: it charges you, issues your invoice and handles sales tax, VAT or GST where applicable. Its own terms also apply to the payment.
• Prices are shown in US dollars and are one-time payments unless the page says otherwise. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
• A pass gives you access to the items it describes, including items added later if the pass says so, for as long as the site operates.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Your licence to use what you get

When you copy, download or buy an item, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it as follows.

You may:

• use it in any number of your own or your clients’ websites, apps, products and designs, including commercial ones;
• change it as much as you like.

You may not:

• resell, share, give away or redistribute the items themselves, as they are or modified, whether as files, prompts, UI kits, templates, courses or libraries;
• upload them to marketplaces or template stores, or publish the prompt text or Figma files where others can copy them;
• use them to build a product that competes with The Design Stack;
• claim you created the originals.

A team licence covers the number of people named at checkout. Everyone else needs their own licence. If you break these limits, your licence ends and we may close your account.

7. Demo content, fonts and AI tools

• Photos, names and text in previews and demos are placeholders to show how an item behaves. They are not part of your licence; replace them with your own content.
• Fonts named in an item are loaded from their own providers (such as Google Fonts) under those providers’ licences.
• Prompts are instructions for third-party AI tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor or Emergent). Those tools are not ours; results can vary, and you are responsible for reviewing and testing any code they produce before you use it.

8. What you must not do

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or access it with bots or scripts;
• try to get around the free-copy limit, a paywall, rate limits or any other security measure;
• probe, scan or test the site for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or interfere with its operation;
• use the site for anything illegal or to infringe anyone’s rights.

If you find a security problem, please tell us at hello@thedesignstack.co.in instead of exploiting it.

9. Our intellectual property

The site, its design and every component, prompt, template, preview and text on it belong to The Design Shop or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Apart from the licence in section 6, nothing in these terms transfers any rights to you.

10. No warranties

Items are provided “as is”. We work hard to keep them correct and working, but we do not promise that they are error-free, that they suit your purpose, or that the site will always be available. Where the law does not allow these exclusions, they apply only as far as the law allows.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims and costs caused by your breach of these terms or by your misuse of the items, including breaking the licence limits in section 6.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Licences for items you bought lawfully and used within the licence continue after your account is closed.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.

15. Law, disputes and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.
