New · MCP for editors
Use The Design Stack inside your editor.
Connect Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf to our library of 87 interaction prompts. Your assistant searches them, shows you the live demo, and fetches the one you pick. No copying and pasting.
Set up in 3 steps
- 01
Make a free key
Sign in (free) and make a personal key on your account page. It takes ten seconds.
- 02
Paste one line

- 03
Ask your assistant
Say “find me a hero prompt from The Design Stack” and it searches, shows you the demo, and builds it when you say yes.
Claude Code (one line, in your terminal)
claude mcp add --transport http thedesignstack https://cusmywsksmeoiojqlgic.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"Cursor (Settings → MCP, or .cursor/mcp.json). Windsurf uses the same shape with “serverUrl”.

Questions
What is an MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way for an AI coding assistant, like Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf, to use outside tools. With ours installed, your assistant can search The Design Stack and fetch a prompt itself, instead of you copying and pasting.
What do I get for free?
Searching is free and unlimited. 7 prompts are always free. On top of that, your account gets one free full prompt through the MCP, once in a lifetime. It is separate from the free copy you get on the website.
What happens after the free prompt?
Your assistant tells you the prompt is locked and shows you the pass and a payment link. The Prompts Pass unlocks all 87 prompts for life with one payment. Everything adds 64 Figma components and 35 Figma prototypes. If you already own either, the MCP simply works, at no extra cost.
Is my key safe?
We store only a scrambled fingerprint of it, never the key itself, so we can’t show it again. Treat it like a password. You can have up to 3 keys and revoke any of them on your account page; a revoked key stops working immediately.
What do you record?
The searches and prompt requests your key makes, so we can apply the free-use rule, stop abuse, and see which prompts people ask for that we don’t have yet. We don’t read your code or your project: the MCP only sees what your assistant sends it.
Which editors work?
Any editor or tool that can connect to a remote MCP server with a header: Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and others. It connects over HTTPS; nothing runs on your computer.
